I'm one of those users who will file bug reports and tell the devs what I think they should be adding to improve it.

Generally, devs have been very happy to hear from me, but recently, I was very surprised when I filed a bug report with a certain (unnamed) developer, who then was quite belligerent in each of his replies (email went back and forth).

Needless to say, the application was drag/dropped to the trash.

Colour me surprised! That is the first time something like that has happened. I suppose he hadn't grown his thicker layer of skin yet. :-/

All I can say is make it *easy* for users to file bug reports or make suggestions.

Hi Andy,

I really enjoy the insight that you provide on this blog. I am a recent reader but I would like to know: with such a niche product, how do you get people to know about it? Is it really as simple as Google Adwords?

Thanks!
